Our programs are intended mainly for junior- and senior-high students and KOSEN students. When a junior-high student applies or makes an inquiry, we assume that the form is submitted after obtaining the consent of a parent or guardian. Where necessary, we may contact the parent or guardian directly to confirm their consent.
We retain the personal information we collect only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use, and information that has served its purpose is promptly disposed of or anonymized. Information on applicants and participants is retained for the period of participation in the program and the period necessary for preparing annual reports and the like (as a rule, three years after participation ends), and is deleted thereafter. For information whose retention is required by law, we follow the applicable statutory period.
When the individual or their legal representative requests the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or cessation of third-party provision of retained personal data, we will verify the requester's identity and respond without delay in accordance with the law.
